Talk about a revelation....
The Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Romans in chapter 8 verse 11 "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you.." That "him" is Father God! You can read this verse simply like this: "If the Spirit (The Power) of Father God (The Creator of the entire universe and beyond; The same God that literally spoke the world as we know it into existence, and The same God that was before and will be forever) that raised Jesus from the dead dwells (lives, to live a resident, exists, resides) in you..(your human being within your flesh) "he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." He (Father God, The Holy Spirit) that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (to come alive, receive life, to stir up, to rouse) your mortal bodies by His Spirit (Father God's Spirit / The Holy Spirit) that dwelleth (lives) in you.
Think about that just a second or two...once you become a Christian, the instant that you ask Jesus to come live in your heart, when you surrender to self and cry out to Jesus to save you and to forgive you of your sins, the very instant that happens the Holy Spirit (the Power) of God the Father instantly enters within you (inside your body, heart, mind and soul) and He transfers His Power into you. You instantly become a joint heir to Jesus Christ His Son. You at that very moment have the ability to declare in the Name of Jesus that infirmaries, diseases, and sickness to leave you. How is that so? Because disease, and sickness is of the devil. The devil's main job is to steal, kill, and destroy you; your life, your dreams and all your plans, everything about you. In the Gospel of John chapter 10 verse 10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." That thief is the devil. The "I am" is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. Sickness isn't of God, God gets no glory from poverty and sickness that's the devils bag that's his thing. Declare your healing in the name of Jesus, and then expect it to happen. It may be an instant healing, or it may take some time BUT!!! Once you declare your healing satan has no authority over it any longer. Declare Romans 8:11 over yourself and expect God's healing for yourself. Saturate yourself with God's Word. Don't just say it once and then start "hoping" or "wishing" for your healing. You have the right to go before the Throne of God and BOLDLY ask for His Healing Mercies upon yourself. So, do it! Don't guess if it's real or it might happen. This is the same God that you believed in your heart would save you from an eternal Hell, why can't this same God that spoke this world into existence, this same God that knew you before the foundations of this world were set into place, who knows how many hairs on your head, who holds your next breath in his hands...why can't you believe that He can heal you of your malady or disease? If you are a Christian Romans 8 verse 11 clearly states that His Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead IS IN YOU! Don't you believe that if death being the ultimate terminal conclusion to any given life problem, anything less than that including resurrection from the dead wouldn't be that big of a problem for God to fix or handle. Nothing surprises God. He doesn't wake up each morning to hear such and such happened to so and so, Father God doesn't go around speaking words like "Hmmmm, imagine that, who would have figured that!" Claim your healing! In fact, I'll come into agreement with you. Father God You said in Romans chapter 8 verse 11 in your spoken Word that Your Spirit is in me, that the Power of Your Spirit caused Jesus to arise from the dead...I want this same measure of Faith and Power in my life. This disease (and I am not claiming it either because I didn't ask for it) has attacked me and wants me to suffer and die. So, in the Name above all names, the Name that all other names must bow to, and this disease has a name so it too must also bow to the name of Jesus; I claim my healing in the name of Jesus Christ my Savior and my Lord and King. And I Thank You Father God in advance and I also give you ALL the Glory and ALL the Praise of which You are Worthy. I ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
Ok you've just prayed for your healing and I am in agreement with you for it, and Jesus said that if we are one with this that He will do it. Honestly, isn't it great to have ALL the Power of the universe reside with you? It's just more than awesome to me. Keep your Faith intact and strong in Christ Jesus. Until we talk again, later.

I am not called to wait upon the preacher's anointing....
For a long time..for a longer time than I would like to admit I wanted the preacher to fill me with the Holy Spirit. I wanted to live vicariously through his anointing or through the anointing of the worship leader's selection of the hymns or the before the sermon special song or even the invitational song for that particular Sunday service. I wanted to have "someone", anyone to give me a "word" that I could grasp a hold of and claim as mine so I could drag it around with me for that week. I never thought that I was all that spiritual or for that matter smart enough to understand God's Word no matter how plain or simple it was put before me. I continued to want to suckle on the milk of God's Word, I didn't want the "meat" of God's Word because after all that would take an effort on my part to chew it and then digest it. But Praise God! Those days are done and dead!
My revelation, and my Blessings don't depend on how good the preacher feels on any particular day or on any Sunday morning. I don't "need" the benefit of my pastor's anointing because Praise God I am and have been anointed on my own efforts and prayers. Not my own efforts in the flesh efforts but in the Praise I aim and direct at my Lord and Savior Jesus. I don't "need" to have my Worship Leader to sing any particular song or to work up my Faith, I have the gift of Faith. I can stir up my Faith within me by the Power of the Holy Spirit within me. My question is this: Are you dependent on someone else to feed you Holy Manna? Are you dependent on your preacher to pray for you "all the time" and do you find yourself unable to motivate your own prayer life. Well, if you do and you are...it's time to change all that NOW! In Jesus' name call out to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to give you a new revival with in you. Ask Him to give you the WANT to study His Word. It's not called the Living Word for nothing. God's Word IS Life! God's Word is a renewal to you. Father God I ask You to please open the windows of Heaven and pour out on me Your anointing, Your Blessings, and Your Understanding of Your Word. In Jesus' Name. Amen and Amen.

Kind of rough weren't you.....
"If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as Your own personal Lord and Savior...Loving I say this to you, you may be a church member, and you may even be a Deacon in your church but not until the moment you ask Jesus to come into your heart; you are not a Christian as the Gospel proclaims what one must do to become one. And that is the Gospel and the Truth. Amen. That's it. Praise God! I found it...my purpose, to Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Awesome isn't it. Until the next time. Later." from forthispurpose's blogsite.
Hey, that's kind of rough ain't it...telling people that they aren't Christians just because they haven't asked Jesus to come into their hearts; well personally I don't think that that statement is all that hardcore or rough..I know that I know that I know that it happens to be true and it is the Gospel according to the Apostles and the Epistles of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as inspired by the Holy Spirit (who is Jesus) and yes it may seem rough to someone who isn't a Christian but alas true is true and what is is what is. On one popular television show the hostess of that show proclaims that there "just has to be more than one way" to get to Heaven. This particular hostess can't fathom a God who would send anyone to Hell for not "following" the biblical method of salvation and redemption. Well, why not just call God a liar and be done with it, end of discussion. Jesus said that He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no man (no woman) could see the Father except through Him. Now, if Jesus said it it's True (Truth) and Jesus is The Truth thus making Him the Way and His Way is The Life, eternal Life in Him. Here's the deal...not even this television hostess can change God's mind and/or God's Truth. Or we can boil this down even further. What Jesus said verses what some television hostess said, hmmmmm whom shall I entrust my eternity too?! You know eternity is too long to be wrong! "O" this idea that you can negotiate and sidestep the Gospel to fit your own personal agenda and ideas is wrong and then to "preach" this so called gospel to millions of people only magnifies this wrong. Salvation is not achieved or is it gained by good works, good "ideas" of the flesh, or is it gained or earned by "wanting" what you think "ought" to be true. Salvation comes by Faith in the belief that Jesus IS the Son of God who arose from the dead, thus over coming death and sin and paying for our freedom with His Blood i.e., His Blood sacrifice paid the price in full for our (my) sins. Me, I am a sinner saved by Grace. period. I am saved by God's Mercy by my confession of my sins and my willingness to repent (to turn away) from those things of my past. I can't buy way into Heaven and neither can anyone else.
It is my purpose to share the Gospel with those who will listen; and to those who won't, I can only pray for the day that they will and if not by me then by someone else who they will listen to. It's my hope that you aren't "so enlightened" to the point that the Gospel of Truth and Life seems "out of date and beyond" your capacity to reach out and grab a hold of it. It is not the Gospel of old news and someday events..it is the Living Word which is pertinent and Powerful for today. Read it and then experience it for yourself. Don't just take my word for it or somebody else's word against it; find yourself a bible and read it and then let it's Truth saturate your being. Praise God! Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that's my purpose and someday it may become yours too. In Jesus' name. Amen and Amen.

I found it!
Ministering to those who still wonder if God Loves them even after all those wasted years of wondering if God still Loves them and are in fact, Christians..."Wait just a minute or two before you get started, I have been a member of my church for years and years; in fact my family was one of the founding families of the church that I go to...there's a plaque on the pew of the church that I go to dedicated to my grandfather. " And your point is? Are you proclaiming that you are a member of your church or are you proclaiming that you are a Christian who has been Saved by Grace? You can say you know God until the cows come home, but if you haven't proclaimed His Son Jesus as His Son who was born of a virgin, lived on this earth as a man (but who was God) who was crucified on a cross, and who was laid in a grave and then 3 days later arose from the dead thus conquering Death and Sin for everlasting..if you don't profess your sins and repent and (turn away) from them. If you don't confess your sins and ask His Forgiveness from them...If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as Your own personal Lord and Savior...Loving I say this to you, you may be a church member, and you may even be a Deacon in your church but not until the moment you ask Jesus to come into your heart; you are not a Christian as the Gospel proclaims what one must do to become one. And that is the Gospel and the Truth. Amen. That's it. Praise God! I found it...my purpose, to Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Awesome isn't it. Until the next time. Later.

Xanga says that they miss me....
Well, that's so very nice of them to say so...we over here at forthispurpose also have been missing the xanga format. Things have changed somewhat since we've been on our sabbatical, we've been given a little more insight into some things and a little bit more wisdom in other areas...so all in all it's been a productive and a learning time in our lives. I hope that I have been missed by y'all because I have certainly missed my readers input and ideas immensely. So, as begin to ramp this site up again and dust off the keyboard etc..we'll see how it goes and if it's supposed to remain. Until the next time. Later.
